Who Are We? Snaxsmart was started in the year 2013 by Shankar M Prasad, former COO at Bharti Airtel, President of Tata Communications, COO of Redbus and an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur, with a vision to make healthy snack food accessible to all. What we do? We provide healthy snack food to corporate's and vending machines are one way of making this food accessible to the employees. We vend healthy snack food items through automated machines. We provide snacks that employees can eat, without it adversely affecting their health. Why Us? We are a team of passionate people who are here to make a difference in the snacking habits of Indian Consumers. We actively listen to our consumers and offer what they need, because we want to make a difference to our consumer’s health. If they don’t consume items from our machine, then we are really not making a difference. Some of the items that we offer are: Sweet Corn, Muesli, Ragi Bites, Chocos, Soup, Cakes, Oatmeal Cookies, Digestive biscuits, Marie biscuits, Rusk, Almonds, Raisins, Cashews, Roasted and Salted Peanuts, Popcorn, Puffed Rice, Nutri Bars, Chikkis, Butter Milk, Flavoured Milk, Lassi, Orange Juice, Guava Juice, Apple Juice, Body Buddy, Mighty meal, upma and poha mixes. How the machine works? The machine accepts Rs. 10, Rs. 20 and Rs. 50 notes. It does not give change. We also have a smart card solution. Every employee is given a smart card. He/she can tap that card on the card reader attached to the machine and take what they want. The smart card is a prepaid card. Amount can be credited to the card on receipt of money from the employee/company.
