Amongst the activities, PAMA organizes annual competition that is hailed as the world's largest mental arithmetic competition in terms of contestants and countries participation. In year 2002 IMA hosted the 2nd PAMA competition in Kuala Lumpur . Year 2001 at 3rd PAMA competition in Thailand , IMA student clinched the prestigious Champion of Champions award. INDIA is represented by IMA in the world organization of Zhusuan, i.e. WORLD ASSOCIATION OF ABACUS & MENTAL ARITHMETIC (WAAMA), a newly formed world organization with its Secretariat situated in Beijing , China . IMA made its mark in the world of mental arithmetic through the appointment of Ronnie Chong, Managing Director of IMA , as Vice President of the world organization.
