They would be 7-8 storey buildings, which would be breathtakingly beautiful, posh and clean. The glasses would shine bright, the grass would be soft and green, the flood lights would make the hostel cricket ground glitter nice. But when the reality came before my shiny eyes, it was far far away from the dreams. The rooms were small. They looked like a Dharmshala( A place where pilgrims would stay) room, with bed bugs and mosquitoes everywhere. And you have a room-mate too. Shared bathrooms, 4 for a wing of 20. The badminton ground in front would be filled with mud, and would have no net. A big big disappointment it would be.While entering the insti, you would see students smoking cigarettes. Some would be having huge beards and clumsy hairs. People paying no attention to what they wear or how they look like. People swearing, a lot. Arrogant, aggressive, addicted-to-swear-every-two-seconds type, etc.There would be some other nerds who would barely notice you. Then you would find a senior whom they call your mentor. And you realize that there are good people around too! Your mom would wonder if you too would become the same in the coming years! :DThe profs! Some would start with congratulating you for clearing JEE, explaining the need for you to become good engineers, would advise you to avoid late night gaming and to attend classes... some others would ask your names, your aspirations and stuff. Then there would be some others who would simply start with their PPT's and would announce a tutorial quiz due tomorrow. A mixed bag.
