A house built with compressed earth blocks looks elegant, is structurally strong & aesthetically appealing.Homes are designed to reduce the overall environmental impact during and after construction. Building with compressed earth blocks is not only eco friendly but also costs less to build & Maintain. Eco friendly - Soil is Sustainable & Eco friendly & does not need to be burnt Unskilled manpower - can construct using this system.Earthquake resistant - construction in this system is earthquake resistant. Passive cooling - Cooler Interiors, this is a natural property of Soil.Manufacturing Interlocking Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks, Promote the Use of this & help other Rural Entrepreneurs to setup & operate similar production facilities.Making housing affordable , Technologies and solutions for smart sustainable cities and integrated townships. Promotion of low cost and affordable housing. Green building solutions. Sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials. Training and skill development .Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB) , is a building material made primarily from damp soil compressed at high pressure to form blocks. Compressed earth blocks use a mechanical press to form blocks out of an appropriate mix of inorganic subsoil, non-expansive clay and aggregate. The blocks are stabilized with Portland cement, around 3,000 psi (21 MPa) pressure is applied in compression, and the original soil volume is reduced by about half. The compression strength of CEB can meet or exceed that of typical cement or mud brick. CEBs are assembled onto walls using standard bricklaying and masonry techniques. The mortar may be a simple slurry made of the same soil/clay mix without aggregate, spread or brushed very thinly between the blocks for bonding, or cement mortar may also be used for high strength, Earth Block structures are warm, solid, and quiet. Earth Block structures can use up to 20 to 30% less energy to heat and cool than concrete block structures.
